It's actually a little addicting once you get started. It takes all the work out keeping track of what you put in your mouth.

C'mon, it's Apple. They're too cool for people over 30. Not only does the kid in the orange shirt know this, he's looking forward to Google indexing all of his personal data and making it available to everyone for nefarious purposes in the name of "free speech". And clogging up his cycles with lame IE toolbars. Long live Microsoft, the free market, and products designed for people who actually earn the money they spend.

Winzero ServerMigrator does server migration automatically and risk free including copying local accounts and their passwords, local groups, NTFS permissions and shares.

Migrate or convert local server accounts to domain accounts and repermission the server. Included are additional tools for security reporting, account renaming, ACL back and NAS support to mention a few.

I think you fail to realize or mention in your article how little teachers make and how much they actually contribute to society. Education is the social institution responsible for the systematic transmission of knowledge, skills, and cultural values. MPS is falling apart but asking teachers to start paying premiums and higher health care costs out of the little money they make may drive them away and make recruiting quality teachers to teach in inner city schools even harder. MPS teachers are under a lot of pressure and have to work without resources that are essential for these students. I have an idea why doesn't the state of Wisconsin STOP tolerating the unequal spending on suburban schools as oppose to inner city schools. Maybe if the funding was equally distributed there would be less problems.

Sorry Allen, but the 'Indulgences' reference was actually originally coined by a discredited faux-environmental scientist called George Monbiot and published in an article in The Guardian newspaper in London on 18th October 2006.

The world has moved on a long way (at least in Europe) with regard to Carbon Offsets since those days. I agree completely that the Dell scheme is a joke ... but good Carbon Offset companies in Europe now focus entirely on retiring UN verified CER certificates, guaranteeing to avoid the additionality and other perils of a few years ago. Here is an example for you ... www.clear-offset.com

Hi Allen. The science and economics behind offsets are fairly sound. If you're investing in CO2-reducing projects that wouldn't possibly have been funded otherwise, then you're reducing net global CO2 emissions.

Carbon offsets can be treated like indulgences—but people can (and do) misuse anything. Some people donate to charity, but create misery around them; that doesn't mean charitable action is inherently tainted. I believe buying high-quality audited offsets is both ethical and laudable, as long as it's never used as an excuse not to reduce personal emissions.

And yeah, the Dell offer is totally ridiculous, and a kind of mild greenwashing. Along with virtualization, other green options would be to buy used/refurbished systems, or better yet, not to buy new boxes at all.

Thanks for the comment. As one of my links states, the McCain camp is trusting Ms. Ifill to conduct herself with impartiality. I'm not crying foul, rather stating a fact.
