A bike at your beck and call

Here’s an interesting idea: automated bike rental in a large urban area. Washington D.C. is the first US city to have this, but it’s been done in Europe. As a cyclist and quasi-tree hugger, I like this one. Why? Cycling is fun, and good exercise Cycling is much faster than walking This program is privately funded. Trek v. LeMond

This is not a discussion of the difference between bike lines; Trek is suing LeMond (and vice-versa). I can’t believe I never thought about it before, but Greg LeMond and Lance Armstrong were both affiliated with Trek. For those of you that don’t know, Greg LeMond seems to have an inferiority complex with LA, as his criticism started right about the time Lance won more titles than him. Interesting theater.
